In Partnership with the Chambers of Commerce, Institute of Directors, Federation of Small Businesses and Business Link, we are pleased to launch the first Haven Gateway Business Intelligence Survey.

Funded by EEDA we are aiming to pull together accurate economic intelligence and business engagement in order to put the Haven Gateway sub-region in the best possible place to grow out of the recession.  We have sent this survey to many businesses, large and small, across the Haven Gateway area and many different sectors in order to provide a full and complete picture of the challenges, opportunities, threats and strengths facing the businesses here in the Haven Gateway. 

This will enable us to develop a quarterly narrative report, highlighting trends in local and sub-regional economies, quality of businesses views and intelligence, testing the local uptake impact and issues for specific policy instruments.  In addition, we will identify and agree the key issues and asks of Government for the Haven Gateway growth area, along with our sponsors EEDA, produce evidence based collateral to equip embassadors with the key messages to lobby government in a consistent and co-ordinated manner and prepare joint lobbying and media campaigns on behalf of the sub-region.  This constitutes a change in our relationship with local businesses and in order that we represent the issues fully, we hope you will engage with us by completing this survey.
