Key achievements for 2010/11 included:
- Completion of Junction 28 on the A12.
- EEDA (and more recently ERDF) funding to deliver Innovation Martlesham.
- Completion of Crag Walk, Walton on the Naze.
- Agreement to deliver Colchester Northern Approach Road and planning application submitted for Park and Ride.
- Transformational changes to the public realm areas of Colchester, Ipswich, Felixstowe, Harwich and Clacton.
- Major transport and land use modelling evidence (leading to the allocation of an additional £3.4m of CIF funding for transport schemes in central Ipswich) and approval for the £20m major scheme Ipswich - Fit for 21st century.
- Preparation of evidence/development briefs to help release key sites in Brantham, Stowmarket and Walton on the Naze.
- Substantial community engagement in the delivery of green space projects.

HGP Annual Report 2009-10 (Summary)
Key achievements for 2009-10 included:
- Significant improvements to major transport routes.
- Direct action in securing the provision of other key utilities.
- Project to deliver town centre and coastal town renaissance.
- Closer working with private sector partners to deliver specific later interventions in key economic sectors.

Key achievements for 2008-9 included:
- New Growth Point Funding confirmed for 2009/10 and provisionally confirmed for 2010/11 and Growth Point Programme agreed for 2008-11.
- Integrated Development Programme (IDP) published and launced at the House of Commons
- £120m for A12 improvements proposed by Government.
- Network rail confirms £50m earmarked for Felixstowe-Nuneaton rail capacity enhancement.
- £11.2m CIF2 funding for A12 Cuckoo Farm junction, Colchester.
- £3.2m CIF2 funding for Ipswich Town Centre Improvements.
In essence, 2007-08 was dominated by three key activities:
- The recruitment and establishment of a dedicated team, led by a fulltime Chief Executive, to accelerate the achievement of our objectives
- The publication of our Framework for Growth, securing a further £17.5 million of Growth Point funding to deliver priority
- infrastructure improvements over the next three years; and the development of our Integrated Development Programme (IDP)
- The appointment of a new Chairman and the strengthening of our board and its governance
