Business Plans

Each year the Partnership writes a business plan, setting out its key priorities for the year.

In 2009/10 the Partnership has highlighted the following key priority areas:

  • Provide increased economic intelligence, business engagement and advocacy troughout the sub-region in line with the EEDA agreed specification.
  • Create a sub-regional Learning and Skills Board to develop a partnership of public and private organisations throughout the Haven Gateway.
  • Manage Growth Point Funding and where possible secure additional funding through the Integrated Development Programme.
  • Provide a sub-regional response to RSS and a draft sub-regional CIL.
  • Develop a particular emphasis on our 5 key growth sectors
  • Co-ordinate a number of key activities including delivery of the Dryports Project, a sub-regional tourism offer including cruise and provide a rural regeneration project.

The Board approved the Business Plan in February 2009.
