Employment Land Study
Produced in December 2005 by DTZ Pieda Consulting the Employment Land Study was commissioned by Haven Gateway to review the supply of, and demand for, employment land and premises across the Haven Gateway Sub-Region.
Haven Gateway Skills Research - Masterplanning: Realising Growth Ambitions through Skills
Prepared by Create Research Centre, University Campus Suffolk for Haven Gateway Partnership and published in January 2008. The report focuses on understanding how work patterns are likely to change over the period 2004-2014. In addition, issues with the provision of training and with the supply of education and training in the future have been considered.
Haven Gateway Skills Strategy
Developed joinly between the Learning and Skills Council Essex and Learning and Skills Council Suffolk by Create Research Centre, University Campus Suffolk and published in January 2008, this strategy is intended to provide a strategic commissioning framework to the Haven Gateway Partnership Learning, Skills and Employment Forum.
Migrant Workers Report
Produced by the Akenham Partnership for Haven Gateway Partnership in 2006. This report highlights economic and employment issues relevant to Migrant Workers in the Haven Gateway Sub-region.
Skills for Life Study
Published in April 2006 and conducted by Suffolk TAP. The purpose of this study was to identify skills for life provision in the Haven Gateway. It identified which groups were not served and their requirement for basic skills training. Employer requirements for trained staff that are not being met were also explored.
Young Peoples Support Services Study
Prepared by People Spark Ltd in 2006. It sets out the results of a study of organisations that provide information, advice and guidance services to young people in the Haven Gateway area.
