Getting help in the economic downturn
27/02/2009
Haven Gateway Partnership has teamed up with Suffolk Chamber to create a ‘Support & Funding Opportunities for Business' brief, which pulls together the key support and funding initiatives that are available to business during the economic downturn.
David Ralph, Chief Executive of Haven Gateway Partnership, explains:
"There is a vast amount of support available to businesses at the moment from many different agencies and sources, but sometimes unless you know what you're looking for, or where to look, it can be difficult to track down. Therefore the Support & Funding Opportunities brief looks to alleviate this problem by bringing all of this information together in one place.''
John Dugmore, Chief Executive of Suffolk Chamber, adds:
"At the moment, time is money for many businesses and this brief takes out of much of the leg work in searching for all the help that is available. It includes skills, productivity, access to finance and international trading information, and provides details on what support packages are out there, and who is providing them along with any limitations that apply and notes on eligibility."
