Anticipating major pressures in housing growth for the future, the Haven Gateway Partnership commissioned in 2007 a 20-year Green Infrastructure Strategy for the sub-region. Funding has been achieved for the first phase delivery of the strategy, and a Green Infrastructure Advisor is now needed to support the Steering Group and partners in taking the strategy forward.
