Sub-regional Housing Co-ordinator

£28, 972 - £33,837 pro rata, 22 hours per week
Fixed-term contract until 31 March 2013

The Greater Haven Gateway Housing Sub-region is a diverse rural and urban area of eight local authorities, spanning Essex and Suffolk. The Housing Sub-region has worked effectively to deliver new affordable housing; sub-regional choice based lettings and is now positioned to deliver a Housing Options Trailblazer.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sub-regional Housing Co-ordinator to help drive forward a number of major projects for the sub-region.  You will be working with a range of partners including eight local authorities, two County Councils, the Homes and Communities Agency, the Haven Gateway Partnership and Registered Social Landlords. You therefore need to have excellent communication skills, along with the ability to develop and maintain good partnership working.

Developing and monitoring our sub-regional housing strategy, you will also work with partnerships to achieve common objectives. You will need to have some knowledge of current housing issues and their relevance to the sub-region. The working pattern and flexibility over the location of this post is to be agreed.
