The Haven Gateway through it's International Trade activities aims to promote the sub-region as a centre of business excellence particularly focused on the Maritime Sector. The Partnership aims to identify projects that will enhance the reputation of the sub-region as a centre of Maritime excellence and that will support the activities of the private sector.
The Partnership works closely with the East of England Brussels Office in order to promote the sub-region and support in Partner searches for further projects to benefits the local economy. For further information on the East of England Brussels Office www.east-of-england.eu
The Haven Gateway European Goals are to:
- Continue to raise the profile of the Sub-region within Europe and Brussels as a Maritime excellence cluster.
- Develop applications for grants and funding supporting the Partnerships key sectors including Cruise Shipping, Ports and Logistics and Marine Leisure.
- Support in ensuring the Private Sector is aware of new European Policies and Policy Consultation
