Today 3 projects were announced as the finalists in the Haven Gateway Partnership's Green Infrastructure Community Growth Award, part of the I Love Landscapes Campaign and now face a public vote to win up to £18K funding.

The fund has been set up by the Haven Gateway partnership to help community groups seek funding for green space or green infrastructure projects.  The partnership are offering up to £18K grant funding to match 25% funding from other origins.  In an attempt to be more innovative it was decided to give the public control over how the funding is allocated by allowing the public to vote for their preferred project or projects.  To ensure that public money is properly spent criteria were set.  Three project applications meet these criteria and today go forward to the public vote.  Those receiving the most votes will win the funding.
