A new set of web pages are beeing added to the Haven Gateway Partnership website thanks to funding from Natural England.  The site is part of the Haven Gateway Partnership’s strategy to communicate its work on Green Infrastructure in the sub region.  The pages provide information on GI, its policy context, what the HGP is doing and the benefits.  Visitors will be able to download copies of the full strategy and using an interactive map view details of projects. 

Natural England, the government’s advisor on the natural environment, supported the development of the site as it is committed to work

ing  with stakeholders to help them improve their local environment.  Internet marketing and design company Free Rein developed the site. 

Green infrastructure (GI) is a planned network of open spaces that perform a range of environmental, sustainability and quality of life benefits for local communities.  The Haven Gateway Green infrastructure Strategy was published in April 2008.
