The Haven Gateway lies along the north coast of Essex and the southern coast of Suffolk.  Shaped by its rivers and boasting 2 areas of outstanding natural beauty, the sub region has inspired great artists.  Over the next few years the towns of Colchester, Ipswich, Clacton, Harwich and Felixstowe are expected to continue to grow.  Click to learn about the opportunities  that have been identified as possible ways in which the Green Infrastructure provision in these areas might be developed over time to ensure the quality of green space is maintained. There are many such opportunities and only limited funding but the opportunities are being continually reviewed to identify priority projects than can be developed as sources of funding permit.
