Develop a multi-modal transport modelling tool for appraisal of transport and development options.

A functioning, fully validated transport model.

Status
Funding for 2008/09 £750,000
Status as at 30 September 2008:
- Survey work undertaken for traffic, road side interviews, bus passenger interviews/counts.
- Drafted model spec report
- Accession baseline report undertaken.
Status as at 31 December 2008:
- Repeat traffic counts undertaken.
- Survey analysis, matrix building and network development all to be progressed.
- Model assembly commenced.
Status as at 31 March 2009:
- Base highway network model development completed.
- Base public transport model development completed with some over-run.
- Highway matrix model has been completed with some delay.
- Highway model calibration started.
- Draft demand model is ready for testing.
