A new website has been created as part of Colchester Borough Council's involvement in SECCADS (South East Creative Cultural and Digital Support) Programme which provides grant funding and business support for creative, cultural and digital businesses in Essex, Kent and East Sussex. The team at Colchester Amphora Trading explain more on the story:
"Local web designers This Is Fever were appointed to design the site: we wanted to provide a platform for people to find other creatives, and local job and freelance opportunities as well as showcase Colchester as a hub for creative activity and the amazing creative talent we have here.
www.creativecolchester.org.uk provides a directory where you can upload your own, or your company (or both!) details and display examples of your work. There’s an opportunities page where you can post jobs, freelance, internships and voluntary roles. And there’s an events page to promote all the fabulous creative activity in Colchester."
